ECCMA-certified ISO 25500 conformance
Type I Certification
After you have verified your email address, you will be asked to register for Type I Certification using a Filebuilder facility that will guide you through the required data submission.
To complete the Filebuilder process you will need to have available:
- Your Company's International Business Identifier (IBID) (or you can search on the Filebuilder)
- An Item (or service) Part Number
- The originating location for that Item
- Item (or service) Specification information for the Item Part Number above, including the Class and Attributes (properties) used to describe the Item
- A payment method ($500 fee payable online at time of registration)
The Filebuilder will help you to format your data submission for supply chain interoperability in conformance with ISO 25500. Your data submission will include:
- Date formatted in accordance with ISO 8601
- Manufacturer or supplier identity identified using the ISO 25500 International Business Identifier (IBID)
- Manufactured at or Distributed from location identified using the ISO 25500 International Facility Identifier (IFI)
- Product or service reference (part number) formatted using a registered prefix and items identified using ISO 25500-4 formatted quality identifiers
- An Item described using ISO 25500-5 formatted specifications
Before you submit your data, you will be asked to confirm that your company has the capability to format its supply chain data in conformance with ISO 25500.
